Bringing India’s farmers together.

Modern greenhouse — advanced protected farming

Indian Agriculture Union Federation is an organisation that brings national farmers together for prosperity and promotes sustainable agriculture — creating unity and solidarity among farmers and agricultural workers, and strengthening their collective bargaining power to negotiate with governments and other entities.

Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, we’ve pulled the entire agriculture ecosystem under one roof — quality inputs and machinery, market linkage and contract farming, digital advisory, and frontier projects in fodder, bio-energy and soil science — alongside a dedicated programme to build and run Farmer Producer Organisations.

Our core paradigm

The Dual-Engine Model.

We uniquely bridge the gap between commercial agribusiness strategy and grassroots aggregation — supervising two distinct, interconnected verticals under one administration.

ENGINE I

Agripreneurship & Corporate Operations

Scalable agripreneurial ventures that bring corporate professionalism, technological integration and strategic market orientation to agriculture — driving modern business systems, commercial supply-chain efficiency and institutional market linkages.

ENGINE II

Farmer Producer Organisation (FPO) Administration

We build, support and manage structured FPOs — organising primary producers into compliant legal collectives that streamline bulk input distribution, drive quality standardisation, and unlock collective bargaining power and systematic training.

End-to-End Supply Reliability

Direct alignment between commercial demand and aggregated field production.

Streamlined B2B Integration

Single-point administrative control over high-volume production networks.

Operational Excellence

Quality inputs, modern practices and structured market access across the value chain.

Vision

Make farmers resilient — and integrate farming with the best resources.

To build the people, processes and practices that enable and empower smallholder Indian farmers to compete with the best by cultivating the highest-quality fresh produce — overcoming the barriers to finance, technology, market linkage and value addition.

Mission

Support the farming community and build a sustainable future.

We provide support and resources to farmers at the international, national, regional and local levels — working as family, connecting them to the latest technology and markets. Aligned with India’s goal to emerge as a 5-trillion-dollar economy by 2047, unlocking the potential of smallholder farmers is our prime national purpose.

What we set out to do

Twelve objectives, one federation.

Multifaceted goals aimed at the diverse needs of farmers, agricultural workers and rural communities.

01

Quality Inputs

Better inputs so members produce the best-quality output.

02

Organise & Process

Help farmers organise, produce, promote and process their produce.

03

Technology Integration

Bring the latest machinery, equipment and practices to the field.

04

Market Access & Fair Trade

Better market access, fair prices, fewer intermediaries.

05

Sustainable Agriculture

Sustainable practices and environmental conservation for the long term.

06

Empowerment & Capacity

Education, training and capacity-building to lift skills and income.

07

Cooperative Movements

Encourage cooperative farming and marketing for small & marginal farmers.

08

Research & Innovation

Promote research, technology adoption and best practices.

09

Awareness & Mobilisation

Raise awareness of rights and entitlements; mobilise collective action.

10

Social & Economic Growth

Support rural infrastructure, healthcare, education and services.

11

International Collaboration

Partner globally on cooperative marketing, import and export.

12

Ancillary Services

Transportation, finance, warehousing and insurance support.

What we stand for

Six values, one federation.

These aren’t posters on the wall — they’re the questions we ask before every decision.

Quality First

Every input we supply and every service we run — quality is the line we don't cross.

Farmer Trust

We earn trust the slow way — by showing up on the farm, in village circles, not just in a brochure.

Sustainability

Soil health, water saving, bio-energy and residue-free farming are the default, not add-ons.

Collective Strength

We turn scattered smallholders into FPOs with real bargaining power and market access.

Innovation

Satellite advisory, maize silage, biochar and bio-energy — real projects, on real farms.

Scale Responsibly

From Gujarat outward — but never at the cost of the farmer, the soil or the community.
